Yoga for Sport

This bundle contains 6 classes between 10 – 50 minutes covering all aspects of mindfulness & mobility to supplement your training. Olivia has drawn on her experience both as an athlete and her work with athletes to create this easy to use Yoga program. In 2023, Olivia completed the specialist Yoga for Athletes training with Yoga Medicine.

No experience of Yoga necessary to complete these classes. 

The bundle includes:

CLASS 1: Post Run Stretch (10 mins) 

A quick mobility flow to tag on the end of a run or gym session. It targets all the major muscle groups and calming the nervous system. 

CLASS 2: Recovery Yin (50 mins) 

A 50 minute full body deep stretch class perfect for a rest day or after a tough run. Yin yoga is a series of long held poses that taps into the fascia (connective tissue) of the body

CLASS 3: Single leg stability (30 mins) 

Running is a unilateral movement (only one foot is in contact with the ground at one time) so practicing single leg stability is great. In this flow we’ll contact with our feet, ankles, glutes, and focus to find balance and strength whilst on one leg. Wobbles encouraged, it’s a fun one.  

CLASS 4: Power Yoga (40 mins)

This is a one breath, one movement flow to find strength in active range and get the whole body moving. We explore the difference between passive and active range that ultimately is the key in reducing injuries. You may get a little sweaty but the Savasana at the end feels blissful.

CLASS 5: Upper Body Vinyasa (30 mins) 

A 30 minute vinyasa flow sequences designed to relieve tension in the neck and shoulders and reset your posture.

CLASS 6: Wake Up & Flow (20 mins)

A quick morning yoga sequence you leave you feeling energised, mobilised and ready to start your day. Perfect if you’re looking to weave yoga into a busy schedule.
